Synopsis
Doo-sik, who knew nothing but exercise, helped his mother, who was working as a caregiver at a nursing home with a heavy body. He uses his injury as an excuse to give up going to college. Afterwards, Doo-sik earns his living by making deliveries at a distribution center.

One day, Soo-hyeon, a friend who works out with him together, comes to visit Doo-sik for the first time in a long time. Soo-hyeon opens up about the hardships of his career, and he lies that he needs some money to continue his sport. He begs Doo-sik to help him. Doo-sik remembers his past and gives Soo-hyeon the money he earned through his hard work, even though it is a small amount of money.

A few days later, Doo-sik, worried about his mother's worsening health, goes to visit the nursing home where her mother works, and there he sees his mother being humiliated by the nursing home staff. Doo-sik gets angry for a moment and throws a punch at the employee. Afterwards, Doo-sik is locked up in a detention center for assault, and his mother loses her job.

Soo-hyeon, who went to the house, hears the news about Doo-sik from his mother and prepares the settlement money to get Doo-sik out.

Doo-sik asks Soo-hyeon where the settlement money came from, and Soo-hyeon cautiously tells him about the illegal sports gambling he has been engaging in recently. Doo-sik joins Soo-hyeon in illegal sports gambling out of a desire to make easy money.
