HanCinema was founded by Cédric Collemine during the summer 2003 in Korea as a way to present and organize Korean films, directors and actors to non-Korean reading audience.
Along the years, the database has kept growing with the addition of Korean dramas to currently feature 4094 films, 2263 dramas, 14875 people (actors, directors, staff members), 1224036 images, 121129 pieces of news and 24535 videos, making HanCinema one of the most comprehensive English websites on Korean cinema and TV. And still growing everyday.
