[Aisha's Take] September Ends With a Banger: K-Drama to Tune into Before October

The year 2023 has brought an array of K-dramas that we loved. Every month we had something exciting to see. September has been no less. We got to see many K-dramas air this month, dramas like "A Time Called You", "The Escape of the Seven", "Moving" and so many more.

Yet. September is not going to bid us farewell just like that! It has brought a new list of K-dramas to join as we jump into the next month. Prepare yourself for more comedy, romance and action!

"Twinkling Watermelon"

"Song of the Bandits"

Synopsis:

"Song of the Bandits" is a story set in the Japanese colonial period. Many Koreans began to go to Gando, a lawless land in China. Kim Nam-gil plays the role of Lee  Yoon, who served in the Japanese military, but the consequences make him head to Gando. There he meets Nam Hee-shin (Seohyun), who is an undercover section chief in the railway bureau of the Japanese government.

The two find more people like them and join forces. A group of bandits comes together to fight against the Japanese army for South Korea's independence. And they are ready to do anything for their loved ones.
