tvN's new drama "Hometown" on the 20th said, "It has been confirmed that it will be broadcast for the first time in September".

"Hometown" is a mystery thriller in which a detective (Yoo Jae-myung) chasing a series of murders in 1999, and a woman (Han Ye-ri) wandering for her kidnapped nephew (Um Tae-goo) confront the worst terrorist ever.

Director Park Hyeon-seok, who directed "Secret Forest 2" is drawing expectations as Chungmuro actors Yoo Jae-myung, Han Ye-ri and Um Tae-goo have confirmed their appearances as the three main characters.

Yoo Jae-myung plays Choi Hyeong-in, a violent crime detective who lost his wife in a brutal terrorist crime. Choi Hyeong-in is guilty of leaving his wife to die, so he lives like a ghost for more than 10 years and becomes responsible for a murder case, which leads to suspicions that the terrorist and his family were involved 10 years ago.

Han Ye-ri plays Jo Jeong-hyeon, who endures the social stigma of being from a family of terrorists. Ironically, Jo Jeong-hyeon suffers because of what her brother does but rebuilds her life through his daughter Jo Jae-yeong, but faces tragedy again after her life-sparing niece disappears.

In the counterpart of Yoo Jae-myung and Han Ye-ri in the drama, Um Tae-goo plays Jo Kyeong-ho, a mysterious life prisoner who commits the worst indiscriminate terrorist incident ever. As soon as he returns from studying in Japan in 1989, he commits a terrible indiscriminate attack on his hometown's train station and is sentenced to life in prison after turning himself in.

"The cast and production crew, including Yoo Jae-myung, Han Ye-ri, and Um Tae-goo, are working together to create high-quality works", said "Hometown"".
