The court said accounts given by Ryoo's wife were credible and that it was clear that he had slapped her face. The court also reminded Ryoo that gathering information about another person's whereabouts without their consent is illegal.

When she confronted him about the issue and asked him to remove the GPS tracker in August 2011, Ryoo allegedly verbally abused and threatened her and repeatedly slapped her face.

The actor placed the tracker on her Mercedes and monitored her movements from May 2011 until February 2012. He also downloaded a location tracking app on her smartphone.

The couple are divorcing.
