There has been much hype raised about the drama since the news that the two were cast came out in July. At a press conference on Wednesday, they talked about the pressure and expectations they have felt since joining it.

"As soon as the cast was confirmed, everyone was worried about the age difference between me and Park. I hadn't realized it would be such a big issue. So, I went on a diet to get into shape so I look well matched with him", Song said.

It is the first TV series for the 36-year-old actress since she married Song Joong-ki, who co-starred in the hugely popular KBS TV series "Descendants of the Sun" in 2016.

Park, 25, has become widely popular since he shot to a stardom with the back-to-back success of dramas "Reply 1988" and "Love in the Moonlight" in 2016.

"It's easy working with him because he is like a younger brother who cares for and listens to me", Song said.

The romance begins in Cuba. Song plays a daughter of a powerful politician who is divorced from a tycoon scion and has never had the chance to live on her own terms.

She happens to meet Park's character in the Caribbean country, who came there on a one-month trip with money he saved up from various part-time jobs while looking for a permanent job after graduating from university.

Song explained her character, saying, "She is constricted in every aspect of her life, and it makes her personality very dark. But she meets [Park's character] and rediscovers her bright side".

Park is well known for his infectious personality, which cheers up those around him. So he may be a perfect fit for the character, who, as Park described him, knows how to find happiness in small things and share it with those around him.

The series begins airing next Wednesday.
