On the 19th, Lee Jae-wook, Jo Bo-ah's agency C-Jes and Keyeast said, "They have been offered to appear in "Hong Rang" and are positively reviewing it".

"Hong Rang" is a mystery romance historical drama based on a novel of the same name. It tells the story of a daughter, Jae-i, who Sim Yeol-gook, a giant upper house owner of Joseon, conceived through a surrogate mother, and Hong Rang, a son he got from wife Jeong-sil. It will contain Jae-i's story of pursuing the truth surrounding Hong Rang, who went missing and returned as a child.

Lee Jae-wook was offered the role of Hong Rang, a son born to the wife of Jung-sil of Danju in the upper part of the Joseon Dynasty. He grew up as the most precious son but disappeared at a young age, and he suddenly returns one day after more than a decade.

Jo Bo-ah is Hong Rang's loving half-sister and plays the role of Jae-i, a sister who constantly doubts Hong Rang's identity.

Meanwhile, Kim Hong-seon-I, director of the dramas "Voice", "The Guest - Drama", "Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area", and "Decoy", will direct "Hong Rang". The drama is written by Kim Jin-a, writer of "Dr. Brain".
