[Ishani's Picks] Kwon Yuri & Jung Il-woo Prove Their Golden Pairing Once Again In "Good Job"

Two of the biggest stars in the K-Drama world, Kwon Yuri and Jung Il-woo, who previously appeared together in the mega-hit series "Bossam: Steal the Fate", have done it again and this time, as Don Se-ra and Eun Seon-woo in "Good Job".

Spoiler Alert!

"Good Job" is one of those K-Dramas that has the best of every genre. It is predominantly a crime thriller, albeit with an adorable couple at the centre, who seem to be at odds with each other but soon partner up to beat the greater evil.

At the same time, one of the key elements of the story is fantasy, with Se-ra having super-vision that allows her to see minute details from miles away. It is also a situational comedy that keeps things light, relieving tension that builds up at each turn. Eum Moon-suk (who plays Yang  Jin-mo) is hilarious, as always and his timing is impeccable. Together, Se-ra, Seon-woo and Jin-mo are the dream team we didn't know we needed but just can't get enough of.

Seon-woo is looking for the person who stole his mother's precious necklace named "The Queen's Tears", which would lead him to her murderer. Se-ra gets involved with Seon-woo when she accidentally mistakes him for a petty thief while he was undercover and then ends up reporting him to the police as a suspect in a murder case.

When she realizes her mistake, she helps him clear his name but in the process, he discovers her ability and hires her as a temporary detective's assistant to investigate the mysteries lurking behind "The Queen's Tears".

Se-ra and Seon-woo's chemistry is palpable and the enemies-to-lovers arc is delectable, to say the least. Kwon Yuri and Jung Il-woo's golden pairing is once again making our hearts flutter and I just can't get enough. If you're still wondering whether you should start watching "Good Job", I ensure you that you will enjoy every second of it.
