[HanCinema's News] Yoon Byung-hee Cast for "Insider"

According to reports from persons close to the production of "Insider" actor Yoon Byung-hee of the recently completed "Vincenzo" will be a part of the cast for the prison infiltration drama. "Insider" will star Kang Ha-neul as a rookie prosecutor who must use his poker face and quick reactions to suss out a mysterious criminal operation. Kim Sang-ho has also received an offer to appear in "Insider" but it is unknown what sort of character he was offered a role for.

Likewise, there are as yet no details regarding Yoon Byung-hee's character. But the actor has been on a definite upswing. His role as a talent scout in the popular inside baseball drama "Stove League" from last year greatly increased his profile, which led to the thirty-nine year old actor taking a large number of film roles over that year. His similarly strong turn in "Vincenzo" as a law office manager has likewise only further improved his reputation.

Yoon Byung-hee will be returning to screen sooner than though, as he is listed as supporting cast in "Sweet and Sour" which will premiere worldwide via Netflix on June 4th. "Insider" as of yet only has a vague release window defined as the second half of this year, with Kang Ha-neul the only confirmed cast member as the only confirmed character. "Insider" will be directed by Min Yeon-hong of "Missing: The Other Side" while Moon Man-se of "Priest" will be the credited screenwriter.
