In a recent radio interview with Park Ha-sun, actress Won Jin-ah discussed her recent career moves. Most notably, she appeared in "Hellbound" as So-hyeon, a single mother who for reasons unknown is visited by otherworldly beings who inform her that she will be sent to hell at a specific time in the near future. Won Jin-ah admitted that while she was a single, she had no children, and had to consult a great deal with director Yeon Sang-ho about the best way to perform the role.

Won Jin-ah also confessed to briefly thinking she was on her way to becoming a world star, when "Hellbound" became the number one Netflix drama in the world on November 20th, the day after its release. But she quickly decided to get back to work, and to simply appreciate that she had a chance to work on such a strong project at all. Hence her current media presence for the omnibus romance "A Year-End Medley" which will premiere in theaters and TVing on December 29th.

In "A Year-End Medley" Won Jin-ah will play the housekeeper of the hotel, I-yeong. Her romantic opposite will be Lee Dong-wook, whose character Yong-jin is another employee of the hotel. This will be the second pairing for the actors. They had previously appeared together in the medical drama "Life" back in 2018. Won Jin-ah claims to have been pleased when she had first heard the news, though also a bit silly as her relations with Lee Dong-wook had been friendly rather than romantic.

The aspirational musical dance aspect of Won Jin-ah's role came more naturally, as Won Jin-ah herself was trained as a dancer back in high school. This had been part of a broader performing arts curriculum rather than to become a specialist, however. Won Jin-ah said she thought "A Year-End Medley" was filled with warmth and pleasantry, and expressed hope that even people with holiday blues could find some enjoyment from the story.
