On July 27th a press conference was held for the upcoming comedy film "6/45" at the Lotte Cinema near Konkuk University in Seoul. Actors Go Kyung-po, Park Se-wan, Lee Yi-kyung, Lee Soon-won, Kim Min-ho, Eum Moon-suk, and Kwak Dong-yeon were all in attendance alongside writer/director Park Gyoo-tae. Park Gyoo-tae explained the title as being due to how the South Korean lotto is won by picking six numbers out of forty-five. "6/45" represents how the concept might seem to a North Korean soldier.

The concept of "6/45" is about the series of events that ensues when a winning lottery ticket crosses the military demarcation line separating South Korea and North Korea. Park Gyoo-tae claimed that humor and wit are used in the movie as a sort of salt about the brightness of life and it is innately unforgettable. Park Gyoo-tae also said that he worried greatly over how to make the movie fun, and ultimately concluded that the best way was for the filmmakers themselves to have an enjoyable time.

Lee Yi-kyung

Eum Moon-suk

Go Kyung-po plays the leading role as first holder of the winning lotto ticket. Though best known for his work in such dramas as "Reply 1988" and "Don't Dare to Dream" originally Go Kyung-po worked in sketch comedy programs, and that's where he learned his trademark style of being over-the-top. Go Kyung-po stated that the script greatly appealed to him because he could see where there were opportunities to promote reactions of laughter in the viewer in that style.

Park Se-wan

Lee Soon-won

Lee Yi-kyung plays the second holder of the winning lotto ticket. Lee Yi-kyung claims to have accepted the role offered to him very early in the production process, and that he paid close attention to further casting developments. Lee Yi-kyung also claimed to have been nervous waiting for the movie to finally begin filming. Compared to these two Eum Moon-suk is the straight man, a by-the-book Captain beyond temptation who is nevertheless tempted by the lottery ticket's immense wealth.

Kwak Dong-yeon

Kim Min-ho

Go Kyung-po claimed that Eum Moon-suk was essential to morale on site, as the older actor, who he called his brother, made a positive impact whenever he made an entrance. Lee Yi-kyung agreed that even after a tiring day, Eum Moon-suk was like MSG added to the taste of casual conversation. "6/45" will premiere in South Korean theaters this coming August 24th.
