[HanCinema's News] "Parasyte: The Grey" Hits Number One on Netflix Leaderboard

According to FlixPatrol, the recently released South Korean series "Parasyte: The Grey" is now the most popular television show worldwide on Netflix. The adaptation of the comic by Hitoshi Iwaaki deals with aliens who arrive on Earth and overtake the bodies of whatever human or other animals they first come into contact with, effectively turning their hosts into shapeshifters. The creature feature is the latest from director Yeon Sang-ho who has come to specialize in such work.

In Africa, "Parasyte: The Grey" is also the number one Netflix series in Kenya, Mauritius, and Nigeria. The sole European number one is Slovakia.
