[HanCinema's News] Han Ji-eun Talks About "Bad and Crazy"

In a recent interview, actress Han Ji-eun spoke about her experience on the crime drama "Bad and Crazy" where she played the lead female role as a narcotics officer who's also the ex-girlfriend of the lead played by Lee Dong-wook. Relative to her character, Han Ji-eun claimed to have a fifty percent synchronization rate with her own personality. Though Han Ji-eun thinks of herself as single-minded, she also thinks of herself as completely disinterested in topics that don't spark that kind of passion.

In general Han Ji-eun described the role as being a challenge for her, as she'd had no experience with either crime shows or detective characters. Prior to "Bad and Crazy" Han Ji-eun's most prominent role has probably been as one of the leads in the omnibus drama "Be Melodramatic" back in 2019. However, she also played the title character in "Drama Stage 2021 - EP, Hi Dorothy" who works to take down illegally uploaded videos of a salacious nature.

Han Ji-eun also spoke about wanting to do better in future roles, and also to improve her own confidence- hence why she challenges herself. To that end she has already been confirmed for the upcoming TVING drama "Stockstruck" in the leading role. Han Ji-eun noted that she knows nothing about stock trading, which is the subject the program revolves around. This makes the role another such challenge for her, as Han Ji-eun's character also starts off knowing little about the stock market.

It's been quite some time since Han Ji-eun made her debut in the horror film "Ghost - Omnibus" back in 2010, but only recently that she's started getting bigger roles. Reflecting on this, Han Ji-eun said that she's done well with what she has had, and could not have imagined making this much progress in her career. Han Ji-eun thinks that ten years haven't been a short time, yet she has progressed step by step, and feels all the stronger for that.
