There has been a judgment from the court of appeal that the Korea Media Rating Board's (aka KMRB) decision on making the gay movie "Just Friends?" x-rated to youth is unjust.

The 5th department in the Seoul High Courts said, "X-rating preventing to youth from watching "Just Friends?" is prejudice to homosexuals" and ruled out the plaintiff.

Right after the announcement was made; director Kim-Jho Gwang-soo met with the reporters and said, "If you watched the movie, you will know it's not harmful to youth. This is the right judgment".

"Just Friends?" is about the events that happen when would-be cook Seok (Lee Je-hoon) goes to visit friend Min-soo (Yeon Woo-jin) and was ruled to be x-rated from youths in 2009.

In protest Cheongnyon Film claimed for the cancellation of KMRB's rulling. The first court said, "The contents of the movie is quite hard to accept by those not used to it, but homosexuality wasn't beautified and there were no scenes of masturbation so compared to the KMRB's judgment on other movies, this time it's illicit".
