"Cheer Up" is drawing attention due to the meeting between director Han Tae-seob, and writer Cha Hae-won working on a story of those gathered in the cheering squad of a failing university.

Meanwhile, "Cheer Up" released photos of the script reading site on the 24th. The script reading for "Cheer Up", which was held at the SBS Ilsan Production Center, was attended by director Han Tae-seob and writer Cha Hae-won, as well as major cast members such as Han Ji-hyun (Do Hae-i), Bae In-hyuk (Park Jeong-woo), Kim Hyun-jin-I (Jin Seon-ho), Jang Gyuri (Tae Cho-hee), Lee Eun-saem (Joo Seon-ja), and Yang Dong-geun (Bae Young-woong).

As "Cheer Up" is SBS's first campus drama in 23 years since "KAIST" and a youth reality set in Korea's first cheering squad, the atmosphere of the script reading scene drew attention.

The production team of "Cheer Up" said, "From the first script reading, the positive energy of the actors, and the harmony, the actors' sympathetic laughter exploded throughout the script. We are going to come back with a drama like a cheering song that will awaken everyone's youth that we have forgotten due to our fierce life, so please look forward to it", it said.
