Byeon Woo-seok and Kang Mina in "Moonshine"

Byeon Woo-seok and Kang Mina are starring in "Moonshine".

"Moonshine" is about human love against the backdrop of the most powerful alcohol prohibition period in the Joseon. The drama is about three people who can end each other's lives fatefully encountering in front of a secret liquor warehouse.

Director Hwang In-hyeok in charge of the drama has shown rave reviews for his work in "Doctor Prisoner" so his next work is highly looked forward to.

Byeon Woo-seok takes on the role of Lee Pyo, a rebellious prince while Kang Mina is Han Ae-jin, a single daughter and the Joseon version of a 'straightforward girl'.

These two have co-starred in "Drama Stage - The History of Walking Upright" before.

The production company said, "We hope Byeon Woo-seok, Kang Mina, Yoo Seung-ho and Lee Hyeri can bring out the best in synergy. With fresh materials, we are working hard to bring new fun and thrill to the viewers".

"Moonshine" begins filming in May and will be broadcast at the end of the year.
