[Aisha's Take] Here Is How "New Love Playlist" Will Make You Experience First Love, Heartbreak And Finding A Way To Mend It Again

"New Love Playlist" tells the story of post-Corona students who find themselves entangled in a love mess. The drama showcases how they get through the mess of finding out their real feelings and recognizing what really is important.

Min-joo's life changed when Corona struck the world. Min-joo discovered that some members of her dorm were diagnosed with Corona, hence the dorm had to be evacuated. With no other place to be found, she had to share an apartment with three other boys, Do-yoon, Yoo-jin and Tae-yeong. Even after they returned to their dorms, the four stayed together as best friends.

The main focus of the web drama are Min-joo and Do-yoon.The couple goes through a roller-coaster ride of emotions as they fall in love, experience heart break and find a way to mend it again. Along with the characters, the show takes the viewers on the same ride. The subtle caresses and racing of the heart brings a nostalgic sense of first love- of its innocence. But love is not as simple as that, and we learn that in the drama.

Min-joo demonstrates the concept of heartbreak. She clearly has feelings for Do-yoon but he, on the other hand, is complicated. Min-joo refrains from expressing her emotions, even after the 'accidental' kiss, because Do-yoon claimed that he saw her as nothing more than a friend. Time passes by but the two are still unable to get over the event.

Even though, it seems- and Do-yoon too believes- that he has moved forward. Initially, it was revealed that he did not confess because he was afraid of losing Min-joo. Since relationships like that can come to an end. Later, he begins to show interest in a senior in colllege, Yoon Seul (Yoon Ye-joo). Soon, he begins to realise that the only one in his heart is Min-joo.

Min-joo, on the other hand, was determined to forget Do-yoon and to heal the wound in her heart. Here, she begins to mend, but that takes time. She meets Ahn  Ji-woo (Lee Ha-min-I), who offers to teach her how to get over her first love.

The drama takes on an entangled love square. They are too naive to understand the concept of true love. Yet at the same time, they mature by hiding their wounds in their hearts and understanding the value of friendship, love and oneself.

"New Love Playlist" offers heart-warming scenes, adorable couples and a whole lot of drama! It's available on Youtube and releases new episode every Wednesday. You will have to catch up on all episodes to experience the innocence of youthful romance all over again.
