"A Time Called You" was one of them. Because of it's stunning star-studded cast and plot-line, many were excited about its release. "A Time Called You" is a remake of the Taiwanese drama, "Someday Or One Day", which added to the reasons behind its hype. And we will give you our word, it is worth the hype! The drama will give you butterflies with sweet romance, a youthful spirit by discussing the struggles and beauty of a high school student and thrilled with a murder mystery and sci-fi input.

"A Time Called You" tells the story of Han  Joon-hee (Jeon Yeo-been) who is left mourning her boyfriend's, Goo Yeon-joon's (Ahn Hyo-seop) death. Even after a year, she is unable to move on from the incident, still believing that he is alive somewhere. One day, she receives a mysterious cassette player.

Curious to know, she played the song and the next thing she knew was that she was in 1998. In the body of Kwon  Min-joo. And surprisingly, she meets a boy, Nam Si-heon, who looks exactly like her deceased boyfriend.

Later, she discovers that her purpose there holds much more value. She has to prevent the death of Kwon   Min-joo. Joon-hee becomes determined to sort out her life. Unlike Min-joo, she is confident and begins to attract people's attention, especially Nam Si-heon's. With his best friend, In-gyoo (Kang Hoon) also having feelings for her, they find themselves in a complicated love triangle.

What makes the show more beautiful is it's portrayal of other platonic relationships too. Si-heon and In-gyoo always put their friendship before anything. In-gyoo was ready to take a step back for the two even though it broke him. On the other hand, Si-heon was unable to move on, even after he meets Joon-hee again. He wanted to change the past so his friend didn't have to suffer like he did. It won't be a lie to say that "A Time Called You" is an emotional rollercoaster.

Whilst the chemistry entertains us, the plot keeps one on the edge. At some point, you might get confused and have too many questions. But as the drama proceeds, it all comes into place. Beautifully at that.

Not to forget! One has to applaud the cast. Jeon Yeo-been yet again proves her versatility by playing not only one but two opposite characters in the same drama. Though Kwon  Min-joo and Han  Joon-hee looked the same. One can easily differentiate them. Like Nam Si-heon would say that her eyes changed. Jeon Yeo-been truly imitated that.
