The movie "HoneySweet" is about Chi-ho (Yoo Hae-jin), a genius confectionery company researcher who has developed an addictive taste, meeting Il-yeong (Kim Hee-sun), a call center employee at a loan screening company who thinks positively.

In the drama, Yoo Hae-jin plays Chi-ho, a researcher at a genius confectionery company who makes hit products. Kim Hee-sun will make a screen comeback with "HoneySweet" after 20 years. Kim Hee-sun plays the role of Il-yeong, who joins the loan screening company as a call center employee to pay off her loan. Il-yeong is a character who interprets anything positively according to her situation, heralding a unique chemistry with Chi-ho.

Cha In-pyo plays the role of Seok-ho, a brother who is like a painful finger that Chi-ho (Yoo Hae-jin) can't hate. Yoo Hae-jin and Cha In-pyo will create a fierce combination of quarrels between the brothers and give another point to watch. Jin Sun-kyu plays Byeong-hoon, the son of the president of the confectionery company where Chi-ho (Yoo Hae-jin) works and the owner of a self-proclaimed fatal charm.
