Won Bin to join military in late November

Actor Won Bin, 28, will join the military on Nov. 29, as was originally planned. His agency reported on Oct. 20 that though the actor has yet to receive his enlistment orders, he will join the military on Nov. 29 if everything goes as planned. The agency added that Won will join the 102nd Reserves in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, where several other celebrities, such as Song Seung-heon and Yoon Kye-sang, are currently stationed.

Won has postponed his military service several times due to his busy acting career, but since last year has repeatedly expressed his willingness to join the military as soon as he receives his enlistment orders.

The actor has been taking a break from acting since the opening of his latest movie, "My Brother", in October of last year. He had planned on starring in one more movie or TV drama before joining the military, but apparently his military service will come first.

Won's agency said that although it had no plans for fan meetings prior to the commencement of the actor's military service, Won will certainly express his gratitude to his fans before joining the military.
