[Reporter : ] : Hello 건영 and Sean! Today for weekly star scene, the 64th Cannes film festival was held recently to celebrate the highest standard of cinematic art in the world today. The festival came to a satisfying end on the 22nd with many Korean movies receiving attention and international acclaim. There was even one that won much coveted prize! Let's find out which movie it was right away!

After receiving a standing ovation at Cannes for his movie "The Yellow Sea" actor Ha Jung-woo has turned his talents towards writing.

He held a party to celebrate the publication of his book, "Ha Jung-woo: Feeling it".

[Interview : ] "Reasons for publishing this book[Interview : Ha Jung-woo, Actor] "At first I declined because I didn't think I had anything interesting to say. However, I felt I owed it to my fans who want to know more about me because my personal story has not received much media exposure".

Ha Jung-woo was invited to the Cannes Film Festival and received a standing ovation from the audience. However, the humble actor seemed excited just to be there.

[Interview : PD] "Thoughts on being invited to Cannes[Interview : Ha Jung-woo, Actor] "I think the second showing of "The Yellow Sea" at Cannes has great meaning for me. I put a lot of time and effort into "The Yellow Sea", so I am happy and thankful just to have been invited".

Ha Jung-woo has always put in his soul into acting. Now, his book will be yet another channel for him to share his many charms with his fans.

Critically acclaimed movie director Kim Ki-duk has received recognition at the Cannes Film Festival.

On May 21st, he was announced as the winner of the top prize in the "Un Certain Regard" section for his movie "ARIRANG - Movie".

"ARIRANG - Movie" is said to be a cinematic self portrait, with the director acting, shooting, editing and producing the film on his own.

[Interview : Kim Ki-duk, Director of "ARIRANG - Movie"] "I think this movie was a chance for me to reflect on myself and ask questions about my persona".

Director Kim Ki-duk had won the director's prize at the Berlin International Film Festival and the Venice Film Festival in 2004. With his recent win at Cannes, he became the first Korean director to be awarded at all three of the world's top film festivals.
