Week's Movie Premieres

The weekend is here and that means new movies.
Here's our Son Heekyung with this week's releases.
First up this week is the Korean family movie "The Show Must Go on" starring popular actor Song Kang-ho.
A gangster in his 40s will perform dangerous work for the promise of living a comfortable life with his family.
The film shows that family is important to gangsters, too.
The director says fathers can easily relate to the story as most men seek to be a good father and husband as well as a respected man.

Next up is a French action film based on a comic series.
"Sky Fighters" is about two air force pilots who are ordered to find the missing demo Mirage 2000 - a French-built multifunction fighter jet.
Their mission is to stop terrorists from shooting down a tanker over Paris during French national holiday celebrations.

From Hollywood comes the romantic comedy, "Because I Said So".
Actress Diane Keaton plays the proud mother of three daughters who's worried about the bad luck her youngest has had in dating.
The mother sets her daughter up on a date with the perfect man whom she found from an online personal ad.

Finally the Golden Globe-nominated British drama "Breakfast on Pluto" is based on the novel of the same title.
The film is set in the 1960s and 70s, and tells about an Irish transvestite prostitute who makes it big as a cabaret singer in London.
The movie is the latest work of director Neil Jordan who's best known for his 1992 hit "The Crying Game".
