WAVVE to Make Political Sitcom "Political Fever"

Online video service (OTT) Wavve announced on the 11th that it will introduce Korea's first political sitcom "Political Fever" in the second half of this year.

Unlike the original works that were released in conjunction, this sitcom is 100% pre-production and will only be released on Wavve.

In this 12-part drama, Lee Jeong-eun (Kim Sung-ryung), an Olympic gold medalist who was appointed as the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, goes through a week of her political commentator husband Kim Sung-nam's (Bek Hyunjin) kidnapping.

Director Yoon Seong-ho will direct the drama, while creator Creative Group Songpyeon and new writers will be in charge of the screenplay.

In addition to Kim Sung-ryung and Bek Hyunjin, Bae Hae-sun, Lee Hak-joo, Jung Seung-gil, Lee Chae-eun and Heo Jung-do make up the cast.
