TvN Drama "Live" by Noh Hee-kyeong Gets a Washington Setting in US Remake

Writer Noh Hee-kyeong's tvN drama "Live" is being remade in the United States.

According US media Deadline, FOX is remaking "Live" in Washington, and Studio Dragon, which produced Noh Hee-kyeong's original, is the co-producer.

"Live" is based on the busiest patrol station in the country; the Hong-il Station. Unlike typical police dramas that deal with criminal accidents and happenings, "Live" talks about the value of life and justice, connecting with the viewers. The cast of "Live" are Jung Yu-mi, Lee Kwang-soo, Bae Jong-ok and Bae Sung-woo.

The American version is going to be much stronger. It's going to be about the US Police from the perspective of African-American rookie policeman Darcell Murray. It's yet to be organized and decisions will be made after the pilot broadcast. Taking part in the drama's creation will be Sterling K. Brown and Chris Collins.
