"The Uncanny Counter" is a hero story based on an original webtoon of the same name, about demon hunters named "Counters" who disguise themselves as noodle restaurant staff. It is a thrilling blood battle between the evil spirits of the afterlife who come down to Earth for an immortal life starring Cho Byeong-kyu (So Moon), Yu Jun-sang (Ga Mo-tak), Kim Sejeong (Do Ha-na), and Yeom Hye-ran (Choo Mae-ok) with phenomenal abilities such as power, psychometry and healing.

In particular, "The Uncanny Counter" puts forward visual beauty and warm humanism at the forefront of the Korean-style fantasy hero drama, in which OCN's unique color can be strongly revealed. The appearance of a sweaty human hero drama, commonly seen around us, is enough to expect a differentiated hero, and not the perfect 'overwhelming' hero with all abilities.

In addition to Cho Byeong-kyu, Yu Jun-sang, Kim Sejeong, Yeom Hye-ran's passionate performances, director Yoo Seon-dong and writer Yeo Ji-na's combination of emotions raise interest by reconstructing the well-made story of the original webtoon "The Uncanny Counter". Therefore, it will provide the exhilarating cider catharsis that the demon-hunting will give you the charm of black holes that you can see until the end.

Previously, OCN's well-made webtoon original dramas "Save Me" and "Strangers from Hell" dealt with pseudo-religion and the novel subject of the 'goshiwon', which were loved by viewers, at the same time, capturing both cinematic quality and popularity. First of all, "Save Me" which was the first attempt at a pseudo-thriller genre, is a drama based on the webtoon "Out of the World" by Cho Geum-san, which drew attention with the countrymen's struggle to save their first love against a cult. In particular, Cho Seong-ha, who plays the role of pseudo-religious leader Baek Jeong-gi, and Seo Yea-ji, who plays Im Sang-mi, received favorable reviews.

"Strangers from Hell" which aired last year, is a mystery dramatic cinema where a young man who comes to Seoul experiences hell created by others in a strange goshiwon life in Seoul, based on a webtoon of the same name with 800 million views accumulated. The unique setting of "What if my neighbor living in the gosiwon is a murderer?" and the adaptation that made the original work fun showed the power of OCN's mystery again. In particular, Im Si-wan's return from the military and Lee Dong-wook's first villain challenge, won the Grand Prize at the 2020 Cable TV Broadcasting Awards.

"The Uncanny Counter" premieres on the 28th at 10:30PM.
