These are actors who graduated from the acting department of the Korea National University of Arts (KNUA) Drama Department. There are many stars who graduated from KNUA, but it is not common for those who entered and studied together to rise to stardom at the same time. The unique relationship of those who are drawing attention from inside and outside the broadcasting industry has become a hot topic online. We're talking about the legendary class '10 of KNUA.

Friendship-based entertainment shows

They imprinted their names on viewers and audiences with different personalities. Kim Go-eun and Park So-dam were one step ahead with the main films "A Muse" and "The Priests" respectively. Lee Sang-yi and Ahn Eun-jin made their names known through KBS 2TV's "Once Again"" and tvN's "Hospital Playlist" last year. Lee Yoo-young and Kim Sung-cheol are also steadily releasing dramas and movies.

Although they are different, they are still showing off their strong friendship through SNS. Lee Sang-yi recently appeared on MBC's entertainment program "Hangout With Yoo". When Kim Sung-cheol was selected as a member of the project group MSG Wannabe, Kim Go-eun commented on his social media, saying, "It's amazing". Ahn Eun-jin also posted a proof shot after watching Lee Sang-yi's musical. Posts combining playful comments they left on their social media accounts are constantly being shared online.

Entertainment program production teams also quickly cast them without missing their friendship. Ahn Eun-jin and Lee Sang-yi both appeared in SBS's "Running Man" special episode of "Legendary Class of 10" in February to show off their eloquence. Lee Sang-yi and Kim Sung-cheol released various stories about their college years through Netflix YouTube content "Give If You Like It" and photo shoots. Kim Go-eun, Park So-dam, and Lee Yoo-young also said in media interviews that they rely on each other strongly.

Now, good-willed competitors

Coincidentally, they will compete for ratings starting this fall by releasing dramas.

Lee Sang-yi will meet viewers on tvN's "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" which will begin broadcasting on the 28th. As a producer of an entertainment program, he is caught in a love triangle with Shin Min-a and Kim Seon-ho. Being a part of MSG Wannabe helped him build a foundation for this role. He took notes of how producer Kim Tae-ho of the TV show "Hangout With Yoo" paid attention to the viewers on set.

Kim Go-eun and Ahn Eun-jin will release tvN's "Yumi's Cells" and JTBC's "The One and Only" respectively. On September 17th, Kim Go-eun introduces "Yumi's Cells" as an online video streaming service (OTT), targeting various audiences. Ahn Eun-jin plays an ordinary office worker who is declared 'the only one' in "The One and Only", appearing more sincere than she usually is this December.

Other people's activities continue. Park So-dam, who has recently appeared in entertainment programs such as JTBC's "Emotional Camping" is planning to release films such as "Special Delivery" and "Phantom". Kim Sung-cheol hosted Channel A's 2021 DIMF Musical Star last month and is gradually expanding his career by appearing on tvN's entertainment program "Sixth Sense 2" on the 13th.
