"The Himalayas" Hwang Jung-min and Jung Woo, actors or hikers?

The human expedition of "The Himalayas" has been revealed.

Character footage was released of "The Himalayas" which is based on a true story, and features Jung Woo as Park Moo-taek and Hwang Jung-min as Eom Hong-gil.

"The Himalayas" is the story of leader Eom Hong-gil and his expedition risking their lives to find the body of a hiker who ended his own life during a hike in the Himalayas. The movie premiere released character footage which stars Hwang Jung-min, Jung Woo, Cho Seong-ha, Kim In-kwon, Ra Mi-ran, Kim Won-hae, Lee Hae-yeong and Jeon Bae-soo.

The footage was narrated by Jung Woo in the Kyeongnam dialect and it starts with the introduction of the characters: Eom Hong-gil (Hwang Jung-min) a leading Korean mountain climber, Lee Dong-gyu (Cho Seong-ha), the supporter behind the expedition, Park Jeong-bok (Kim In-kwon) who quit his job to be in the expedition, Jo Myeong-ae (Ra Mi-ran), the only woman on the team, Kim Moo-yeong (Kim Won-hae) who adores his junior climbers, Jang Cheol-goo (Lee Hae-yeong) who is the disciplinary master of the team, Jeon Bae-soo (Jeon Bae-soo) who enlightens the team and Park Moo-taek (Jung Woo), the youngest member of the team and a dedicated climber who gives up love.

Through the intensive training Park Moo-taek and Park Jeong-bok go through at Eom Hong-gil's house, the Bukhan Mountains and ice walls, the expedition struggles against snowstorms and go through heart-warming moments in "The Himalayas".

"The Himalayas" will be released in December.
