In an interview with the Editor-in-Chief, Sufi Mohamed, stated that, "Korean cinema is intuitive, creative, and experimental, addressing some sophisticated symbolic cultural and societal themes".

IndieJudge.com has been in operation since June 2013 and since then has made relationships with several directors, producers and film photographers including VisionFilms Inc. Their partnership has simulated the growth of their first issue.

According to recent metrics, the first issue has garnered interest, both by avid film-goers and students. They insisted that Korean cinema goes largely under-reported and acknowledged in Western media and that their first issue is composed in response to the artistic creativity of Korean directors and producers.

IndieJudge's first issue will be a start to more releases country-specific. With a mission to explore global cinema, IndieJudge plans to enlighten film goers and excited indie fans.
