The aftermath of this scandal is lingering with the two women who were prosecuted after trying to blackmail the actor out of 5 billion won. The brand Lee Byung-hun is currently modeling for, has reduced exposure of him and his movie. They're looking for an ideal release period for his exposure.

Investigators booked the two women on the 30th of September, and their plans have been exposed in greater detail than before; however, this has led to reveal more about their relationship with Lee Byung-hun.

There is a possibility of additional confrontation between the three of them at court. Model Lee claims that she's been in a relationship with him. And on a phone call with Sports Donga, her representatives claimed, "We are looking for the right method to go through with this. We've seen his side of the story and now we're thinking about how we're going to approach it".

The advertisement industry is also taking measures.

SSG, one of the brands led by Lee Byung-hun, took down most of his pictures from its website. A source said, "The event involving Lee Byung-hun ended on the 30th of September" but they are still looking out for consumer reactions and rethinking about using his image. Another brand was supposed to launch a commercial starring Lee Byung-hun, but they're now looking at how the entire situation ends up first.

The release date of Lee Byung-hun's upcoming movie "Memories of the Sword" has been changed to January. The productions claimed that the release date was never set after introducing the movie as 'the most hyped movie of the year'.

Meanwhile, there have been open criticisms about Lee Byung-hun. Former PA Park Chan-jong mentioned his name on SNS and said, "You need to be responsible when you're a public figure".
