Teasers Whet Appetite for New Park Chan-wook Film

A teaser poster and trailer for Park Chan-wook's long-awaited latest film "Thirst" have been released. The poster shows leading man Song Kang-ho, wearing a priest's black, and Kim Ok-vin choking him while hanging on to him upside down resembling a bat in a cave.

The images leave room for different interpretations, such as a contrast between good and evil, and man and woman. It also hints at the film's central relationship between a vampire priest and a femme fatale.

The original teaser poster, showing Kim's legs, was turned down by the Korea Media Rating Board. The production company decided to use a poster that does not show her legs in Korea and use the original overseas.
