Students creating their own animation

The Foundation for the Promotion of the Cultural Industry in Chuncheon kicks off 'School CF Animation Making Project'

The Foundation for the Promotion of the Cultural Industry in Chuncheon (CEO: Han, Seung-Soo) kicks off an animation art and CF animation production program for middle school students in Chuncheon, which runs from Aug. 8 to 11 at the Educational Hall of the Foundation.

Twenty-six middle school students divided in five teams will participate in the four-day program to learn about how to make a story, and produce and record their own animation. The output of these students will be screened at the 'Ani-Town Festival', which is to be held from Sept. 9 to 13 at the Animation Museum in Chuncheon.

This program is the second project of the 'School CF Animation Making Project', part of the culture and art education promoted by the foundation in Chuncheon. Their first project attracted the participation of only two students at Ongjeong Branch School of Yeondang Elementary School last May.

The foundation plans to operate its third project at an alternative high school in Chuncheon at the end of October.
