Claudia Kim made a strong debut with the movie "The Avengers: Age of Ultron". She was born in Korea, raised in Korea and is a Korean actress. She was asked to join the Marvel Universe and starred in the hottest series "The Avengers".

The role of Dr. Helen Cho is quite a big role in the movie and she got along well with the other characters. She was in the center of attention around Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans and Mark Ruffalo during the Korean promotional event and even in the movie she received a lot of their help.

Not only that, Claudia Kim is also starring in two other Hollywood movies; "Equals" and "Marco Polo". She has to leave for Europe after "The Avengers 2" but she's all smiles.

"It feels like a dream. I never thought I'd be going abroad this fast. I went through so many auditions, but I didn't think for a while that I'd be starring in "The Avengers 2" and "Marco Polo" at the same time. I wondered how lucky I am to be able to act in English and I never even dreamed I would be in America doing that. I feel like Cinderella".

We wondered why Claudia Kim was chosen for "The Avengers", a top ranking and one of the hottest blockbuster series in the world.

"I guess that's because I have the oriental look about me? Marvel saw me as Dr. Cho and I guess they expected synergy since it was being filmed in Korea, too. Many ask if I'll be in the next series but Marvel makes a lot of 'equipment' when a character appears in a movie. I might be in the next series or in the next "Iron Man". Who knows? I want to know what my future has in store for me too".

Doctor Cho's appearance in the movie was unexpectedly long and she played quite a heavy role. She wasn't just some character who passed by, but an actual character with the key to the story.

"I never thought about the amount of time I'd be shown in the movie when I read the script. I did know I was going to stand out compared to other Asian actors and actresses in hero movies. I wanted to blend in more with the others but some scenes were omitted. I am happy with the scene where I mention Thor and argue with Tony Stark. It's all thanks to Joss Whedon".

"The Avengers 2" is currently reaching for 10 million people. Claudia Kim must feel a lot of responsibilities.

"I had a strong city-girl image in Korea. What I need to do now is to get rid of that image and find an image of my own. The good thing about auditions abroad is that my general image doesn't affect the role I'm trying out for. So, I can concentrate just on what's given to me. Hollywood has those advantages so I'll have to dream bigger and challenge myself".
