Prosecutor Shin told Jeong Seon-ho, "Someone I know died. The other cannot be contacted. Aging makes me paranoid, I guess. Please go and meet this person. Find this person's son. He might be hiding somewhere. I can't find him".
Jeong Seon-ho went to see Park Yeongcheol, who was imprisoned after falsely charged of murder. Lee Hyeon and Cha Ji-an (Jang Nara) also visited him while they suspected Park Yeongcheol's son, Park Daeyoung should be the one responsible for the serial murder cases.
When Lee Hyeon encountered Jeong Seon-ho, he said "Encountering each other for murder cases, you might call this fate as well".
Lee Hyeon and Jeong Seon-ho talked about cause and occasion. Jeong Seon-ho asked "Have we met before". As Lee Hyeon could not remember Jeong Seon-ho, Cha Ji-an sarcastically said, "Is it because lawyer Jeong also does not have any memorable characteristics or there's no need to remember just like me".
Lee Hyeon said "It's just that I may remember tedious things but can's remember important things'. When Jeong Seon-ho eavesdropped them, his expression changed completely with the eerie smile on his face.
