All this while, he had stayed quiet about being both the child of Sanarae president Baek Seol-hee (Kim Bo-yeon) and the globally-renowned chef, Hamil.

However, in order to protect Go Joon-yeong (Sung Yu-ri), he had to shed his double identity. Kim Do-yoon had overheard Baek Seol-hee's conversation. Along with Seong Do-hee (Jeon In-hwa), she had plotted Go's demise.

Additionally, Go's rival Ha In-joo (Seo Hyun-jin) was holding out. Kim Do-yoon met Go Joon-yeong and grabbed her by the wrists.

He said, "It's time to choose. Run away with me? No? Fight instead? Answer me!" to which Go asked back, "What's this about? Who would I fight with?!"

"Ha In-joo. And the president of Sanarae, my mother". Do-yoon dryly laid out his relation to President Baek. Meanwhile, Choi Jae-ha (Joo Sang-wook) also learned about Do-yoon's mother.

On a television broadcast, behind the appearance of Baek Seol-hee, boasting of her brilliant son, one could see a plaque with the name Kim Do-yoon engraved on it.

Do-yoon said, "I'm President Baek's prodigal son. We ceased acting like mother and son long ago", emphasizing that in order to protect Go Joon-yeong, he had to hide his mother and his true identity.
