Kang Ji-heon (Lee Yi-kyung) witnessed a murder while tracking down Park Yong-tae, the suspect of the Park Ji-hye case and arrested Jeon Soo-yeong (Nam Gyu-ri), who tried to stab Park Yong-tae on site. Kang Ji-heon handcuffed Jeon Soo-yeong who yelled that she was a police too. She was also a detective and Kang Ji-heon was speechless.

Cha Woo-kyeong found a writing on the drawing of the child who she killed in a car accident. She knew that it was a phrase from a poem written by Seo Jeong-joo. She didn't let it go. Kang Ji-heon knew Jeon Soo-yeong was a fellow detective, but she didn't stop suspecting her.

Heo Jin-ok (Na Young-hee) called Cha Woo-kyeong and asked if she had Eun-seo. Cha Woo-kyeong didn't know what she was talking about. Heo Jin-wook had come on time, but she didn't see Eun-seo and wanted to know what was going on. Cha Woo-kyeong was shocked that her child was missing. Then she heard a child's laughter which she followed into the vinyl house and found her daughter playing with Lee Eun-ho (Cha Hak-yeon).

Kang Ji-heon asked Jeon Soo-yeong why she killed and Jeon Soo-yeong said, "It was my first day at work and there was no one on the team so I panicked. I thought I had to stop him from hurting himself".

At the end of the episode, Cha Woo-kyeong miscarried her second child.
