[Spoiler] "Black Knight" How Seo Ji-hye Became a Witch

2017/12/20 Source

On the latest episode of the KBS 2TV drama "Black Knight", Hae-ra's ((Shin Se-kyung's) previous incarnation, Soo-ho (Kim Rae-won) and Sharon (Seo Ji-hye) were explained.

Two hundred years ago, Seo-rin (Seo Ji-hye) hated Boon-yi (Shin Se-kyung). She burned her face with iron and constantly beat her. She even lied that she became pregnant to get Myeong-so's (Kim Rae-won's) attention.

Boon-yi and another servant went to get raspberries for Seo-rin and the servent, who'd been paid to kill Boon-yi, let her run away and promised to lie that she fell off a cliff.

Eight months later she returned with raspberries. When she found out Seo-rin wasn't pregnant, she was glad. On the day Seo-rin burned her face with an iron, Boon-yi had wished the woman could never conceive.

Myeong-so and Seo-rin worried because they didn't have a child. A shaman picked Boon-yi to carry on the family line. Myeong-so and Boon-yi spent a night together. Seo-rin watched the light in the room go out and cried in anger and jealousy.

She couldn't have the man she loved and she couldn't have a child; this caused her to become a witch.
