On the sixteenth episode of the MBC drama "A New Leaf", Kim Seok-joo represented Jin Jin-ho (Lee Byung-joon) who was in danger of having Baekdu Group taken away from him.

After being defeated on the case, Kim Seok-joo was going to clear out the law firm he had and take a break. However, when Seok-joo heard from Jin Jin-ho that he was about to lose his company, he decided to take the case. Kim Seok-joo was facing a case with the Cha Yeong Woo Law Firm, once again.

Meanwhile, Cha Yeong-woo (Kim Sang-joong) heard Kim Seok-joo was on Jin Jin-ho's side and began moving. He succeeded in legally charging Jin Jin-ho with personal corruption and interrupted Kim  Seok-joo in trying to make good connections with the labor union.

Kim Seok-joo felt lethargic in front of Cha Yeong-woo but remembered the recording file he had attained right before he lost his memory. In there was proof of Cha Yeong-woo's involvement with Gold Rich.

Pressured by Kim Seok-joo with the recording file, Cha Yeong-woo aggravated Kim Seok-joo with a trauma he had; watching his father get arrested when he was young. After some time, the case was solved. Jin Jin-ho who thought about handing over his stocks to the labor union changed his mind and caused Kim Seok-joo to doubt himself. The group went over to new management. Kim Seok-joo found new justice thanks to his lost memory and amended matters with his father.

"A New Leaf" started on the 30th of April and is about an ace lawyer losing his memory in an accident and looking back on the life he'd been living.

After "A New Leaf" comes "Fated to Love You", starring Jang Hyuk and Jang Nara.
