"Intruder" will finally be released on June 4 after two postponements. It was originally scheduled for release in March.

With the infection rate slowing down and social-distancing rules eased, the industry is cautiously moving to go back to normal.

The two stars attended a media screening for "Intruder" on Wednesday to talk about the film.

The thriller revolves around a woman who has been missing for 25 years returns home to her family. However, after her return, all the family members begin to undergo gradual changes. Suspicious, her brother tries to uncover the woman's secret and is confronted by the shocking truth.

"I was attracted to the character, although she is very very dark. I thoroughly enjoyed the script, so all I could think was that I wanted to do it well", Song said. "I really wanted to play the character, so I wanted to do well, but after watching the finished product, I wish I could do a better job".

But she added that she tried to give it all she had because "the character was kind of new to me. I'd be happy if viewers can see that".

To prepare for his role, Kim said, "I put in a lot of effort to learn about neurosis and study my character. As an actor, it is exciting to take on a new character that's very different from what you've already done. I'm not afraid to change, and it's something that I strive to do and am excited about".
