SM Entertainment added, "They also do not want media to go after those coming to visit Sulli's last journey and hope they can help Sulli leave in peace". The agency had made an official announcement about Sulli's death earlier this day.

According to Sungnam Soojung Police, Sulli was found dead in a room in the second floor of her house in Sungnam-si Soojung-gu on the 14th. She was found by her manager who claims he went to check on her because she couldn't be reached. They last talked at about 6:30PM the previous day. The police stated that there is no evidence of homicide and are looking at her death as a suicide.

Sulli debuted in 2009 with f(x), but ceased all activities in 2014 when she suffered from numerous rumors and malicious comments. She came back a year later and started acting as well as appearing on other shows. She was also an MC for the JTBC 2 TV show "Malicious Night".
