Shin Hye-sun, From "School 2013" to Major Roles

Prior to the release of her first major starring role in the movie "Innocence", fashion magazine Harper's Bazaar featured actress Shin Hye-sun, an actress who debuted with "School 2013" and developed her career through "Secret Forest", "My Golden Life", "Angel's Last Mission: Love" and more.

Her tall height and perfect proportions, as well as professional poses resulted in some impressive cuts, while the close-ups varied with the expressions of an actress.

About her decision to star in "Innocence" as her first film, Shin Hye-sun said, "Most mother-daughter films I've seen until now have been about daughters taking care of their sick mothers and about realizing a mother's love in real life or everyday life. "Innocence" is about a daughter who claims her mother's innocence when she becomes a suspect of murder. It felt fresh to me that a mother and daughter who have been out of touch for a long time, connect back together. The scenario was on the table and my father had read it and told me he would like me to do it. It's also the first piece of work I chose based on someone else's opinion".

About having taken small steps to get to where she is, Shin Hye-sun said, "It's special that the public remembers everything about an actress from her starting point, but it can also be pressuring. I've been acting for people to see. Sometimes I have many thoughts about my rookie days, but I consider that a part of Shin Hye-sun's look. Some people feel proud of me about the path I've taken and I'm so grateful for that".

The interview with Shin Hye-sun can be read in the March issue of Harper's Bazaar and Instagram.
