The two stars will appear in promotional videos about green growth and attend major events to fulfill their duties as PR ambassadors over a one-year period. They will be kicking off their activities today by attending the committee conference.

Multi-talented entertainer Rain, whose real name is Jung Ji-hoon, is known to have been involved in various charity work over the years. In 2008, he visited the Taean coast in Choongnam Province where he helped clean up the infamous oil spill and donated relief items to the victims. He has also lent his support to a well-digging project in Cambodia.

Actress Lee Da-hae, who currently appears in the hit KBS2 drama "The Slave Hunters", has volunteered and made donations to various causes for children. She also took part in a global environmental campaign sponsored by Thailand's public broadcaster and the city of Bangkok.
