Ra Mi-ran and Lee Re in the Script Reading for "The Mysterious Candy Store"

The drama "The Mysterious Candy Store" starring actors Ra Mi-ran and Lee Re, unveiled the script reading scene on the 28th.

"The Mysterious Candy Store" is a fantasy drama about the magical story of Jeoncheondang, a mysterious snack shop where the mysterious owner Hong-ja (Ra Mi-ran) sells snacks that grant wishes, and the people who visit it.

Ra Mi-ran, who has been consistently loved for dramas such as "Reply 1988", "Black Dog", movies "Miss and Mrs. Cops" and "An Honest Candidate" is expected to play the mysterious owner of Jeoncheondang and show a different acting transformation.

Lee Re, who showed unrivaled presence in every work she starred in, such as the movie "Hope", the drama "Six Flying Dragons" and "Hellbound", plays the role of Yo-mi, the owner of Jeoncheondang's rival snack shop, Hwaangdang.

At the scene of script reading, the actors and the production team's passion for the work was confirmed.

Ra Mi-ran said, "All the characters I've only drawn in the script were in front of me, so I felt like I was watching the real drama", adding, "I'm so excited about how it would be implemented in the drama".

Lee Re expressed her extraordinary determination, saying, "I want to make the character of Yo-mi into a character that viewers want to continue to see while playing a villain".

Meanwhile, the drama "The Mysterious Candy Store" which began filming in earnest, is scheduled to be released in the second half of this year.
