Popular MBC Entertainment Show to Take Break

MBC's long-running entertainment show "Infinite Challenge" will go off the air -- probably temporarily for now.

The broadcaster on Tuesday said that the show will take time off after the episode on March 31, some 13 years after it started.

The show was first broadcast in April 2015 and has never taken a break except during the company's union strikes in 2012 and 2017.

Producer Kim Tae-ho, who has been in charge from the very beginning, expressed his intention to leave the program for good.

MBC is reportedly considering reviving the show with a new producer and cast, but nothing is decided at this moment.
