The daily morning drama, which premiered in Korea last month, was sold for USD 8,000 dollars per each 60-minute episode to Taiwan's GTV. The price is nearly double the amount MBC morning series "White Lie" had previously sold to GTV for.

"It worked as a huge advantage that the drama starred Park who became very popular in the Chinese market with her role as Yeon-saeng in 'Jewel in the Palace' ('Dae Jang Geum')", explained the show's chief producer Choi Yong-won.

He further credited "Park's great portrayal of the main character and strong storyline" as the strengths of the show.

The 32-year-old actress rose to fame throughout Asia in 2003 with a supporting role in hit MBC TV series "Jewel in the Palace" ("Dae Jang Geum"), which starred top Korean actress Lee Young-ae.

She further solidified her status as a major Hallyu star with the success of "Yi San" (MBC, 2007) and Taiwanese drama "Silence" which starred Vic Zhou of popular Taiwanese boy band F4.

Her previous dramas "Jewel in the Palace" ("Dae Jang Geum") and "Yi San" have also aired on Japan's NHK TV.
