Other foreign films nominated include "Elle" by French director Paul Verhoeven, "First They Killed My Father" by Angelina Jolie, who also starred, "Loveless", the winner of the Jury Prize at last year's Cannes directed by Andrey Zvaginstev of Russia, and "The Salesman" directed by Iran's Asghar Farhad.
