[Orion's Daily Ramblings] Lee Sun-kyun and Jung Ryeo-won Offered Leads in "Diary of a Prosecutor"

The Dramagods... They listen... Or at least I hope that they do, because I need Lee Sun-kyun and Jung Ryeo-won to grace us with their presence in jTBC's upcoming legal slice-of-life drama, "Diary of a Prosecutor". The story sounds very "Miss Hammurabi"-ish, and that frankly sounds lovely.

"Diary of a Prosecutor" is based on a collection of essays published last January, authored by incumbent prosecutor Kim  Woong. It's a mixture of unique episodes depicting the lives of criminal prosecutors, inspired by Kim  Woong's 18-year long career.

Unlike typical dramas of this type, which portray investigations of high-ranking officials and big corporations, these stories reportedly capture the mundane daily routine of overworked prosecutors staying up all night to tackle all the different cases handed over by the police.

The news mentions jTBC's recent love for legal dramas, from the aforementioned "Miss Hammurabi" to the currently airing "Legal High". "Diary of a Prosecutor" will be premiering in November, and with the two actors currently courted, I'm feeling really good about this one. Now give me a solid writer-PD duo, and I'll feel truly blessed.
