[Orion's Daily Ramblings] Greeting "The Most Beautiful Goodbye"

As the drama's premiere draws near, it is time to take a few final looks at the family that will tear our hearts apart for four episodes. The drama has released new stills for all its members as well as some for a few supporting characters. Those who have experienced the original series are looking to its future. The reporter of the first piece attached to the family photos contemplates the probable differences and similarities of the two dramas.

This is something which interests me, because I feel it would have been nice to have that point of view. Twenty-one years is a long time. Society has changed, Korean drama has changed and the format is shorter this time around. However, the concept of family closeness and what I assume will be a message of appreciating the time we have with our loved ones is timeless. It is also universal.

As for the stills themselves, I'm still recovering from Kim Young-ok's wonderful exit in "Shopping King Louis" and now I must prepare my fragile emotions for what looks like another beautiful performance. I'm also very interested in Won Mi-kyung. The actress has had a very prolific career until her break in the early 2000s and her comeback has been just as active. She has a certain pull and warmth about her that I feel will be great in such a role.

On a more shallow note, bless us with Kim Tae-woo in bathrobes, series. Hey, I need something worldly to keep me balanced here. "The Most Beautiful Goodbye" premieres this weekend at 21:00 KST on tvN.
