[Orion's Daily Ramblings] "Children of Nobody" Drops Beautiful Chilling Poster

Try as I may, I sometimes can't contain my excitement over solid promotional campaigns, especially given how erratic and badly delivered many of them are. "Children of Nobody" has been doing an excellent job at it so far, and this stunning, eerie poster is another one for the 'yes' pile.

The image delivers the great, albeit familiar contrast of a terrifying event alongside childhood innocence, along with a tagline adding on to the mystery. The text reads 'In every death with a poem... The child is always there.' Given the heroine's previous promise of protection, I wonder what the child's involvement will be, and whether she is benevolent.

Before elaborating, the poster itself is brilliant in concept and delivery. We have the clear focal point bathed in light and green colors on the top third, while the gore below and right in front of us is masterfully blurred in a sensible way due to camera focus. The location is dark and decrepit, while we also see what is presumably a poem characteristic of these deaths.

Coming back to the child, this is looking like a supernatural mystery thriller by now, or is at least teased as such. The child is always wearing the same clothing, she seems to be elusive at scenes of trauma and death, and even the heroine doubts her existence in the drama's second teaser. Ghost, hallucination, or something else? I'll take anything as long as the story is solid! "Children of Nobody" is premiering on November 21st on MBC.
