"New York Korean Film Festival 2005" to Open Sept. 2

The "New York Korean Film Festival 2005", featuring Korean films recently featured in the news, will be held in New York, U.S.A. from Sept. 2 to 11, local time.

The upcoming film festival will be held in midtown Manhattan and Brooklyn in the heart of New York under the theme "Truth and Dare". The festival will introduce a total of 15 Korean films, including "The Big Swindle" (2004) and "The President's Barber" (2004).

After the showing of films, director Choi Dong-hoon and lead actor Paek Yoon-sik of "The Big Swindle" and director Lim Chan-sang of "The President's Barber" will discuss the latest Korean film trends with the audience in a question-and-answer format.
