It is a story about two brothers who love the same woman at the same time and their cruel fate, and is considered one of the most anticipated works in the second half of MBC's year. On top of that, high-end actors, including Im Soo-hyang, Ji Soo, Ha Seok-jin, Hwang Seung-eon, Park Ji-young, Kim Mi-kyung, Choi Jong-hwan, Lee Jae-yong-I, Jung Eun-pyo and Shin Yi who add depth and fun to their work, are gathering attention even before the broadcast.

At the script reading held in April were Im Soo-hyang (Oh Ye-ji), Ji Soo (Seo-hwan), Ha Seok-jin (Seo-jin), Hwang Seung-eon (Carrie Jung), Park Ji-young (Kim Yeon-ja), Kim Mi-kyung (Kim Go-woon), Choi Jong-hwan (Seo Seong-gon), Lee Jae-yong-I (Chairman Bang), Jung Eun-pyo (Lee Kyeong-sik), Shin Yi (Oh Ji-yeong) and staff and crew members including PD Oh Kyeong-hoon and writer Jo Hyeon-kyeong. When the actors started reading the script, they were 100% immersed in the play, as if the characters had already been loaded, and added vitality.

Im Soo-hyang, who has become a 'success guarantee check', has raised expectations by breaking down Ji-soo's first love, Oh Ye-ji. Im Soo-hyang boasted of her pure, confident, hard-minded mentality that did not discourage her from any situation and exuded the loving charm which the brothers fall in love with. In particular, Im Soo-hyang disarmed those who saw her cute acting, causing admiration.

The 'youth icon' Ji Soo, who returns to the small screen after a year, shook the hearts of women with his cold and hot acting. Ji Soo has completely transformed into Seo-hwan, a young man who falls in taboo romance and can't let go of his fateful first love. In particular, Im Soo-hyang and Ji Soo raised expectations by announcing that they will show off a fresh romance like early summer and that they will show off their extreme chemistry different from that of Ha Seok-jin, who has different personality and taste as a brother.

Ha Seok-jin plays Seo-jin, the standard of a cold-hearted man who heads straight for what he wants without pause. In particular, he made women's hearts flutter by attacking their emotions with his heavy voice. Hwang Seung-eon, who plays Ha Seok-jin's former lover, caught the eye with her desire-infused femme fatale. Most of all, she overwhelmed the audience with her fierce eyes and facial expressions, as a goddess of jealousy who knows no one but Ha Seok-jin. As such, the four-way romance between Im Soo-hyang, Ji-soo, Ha Seok-jin and Hwang Seung-eon, is raising questions about what kind of impact they will bring to the small screen.

On the other hand, Park Ji-young, Choi Jong-hwan, who play both parents of Ji Soo and Ha Seok-jin, gave a sense of intense immersion with their veteran acting skills, showing the expected weight of MBC drama in the second half of the year. In addition, the actors laughed out loud even in the middle of the tense drama and constantly discussed their characters during breaks, raising expectations for the synergy of their acting.

"When I Was the Most Beautiful" premieres in August.
